Fable is Role Playing Game released in 2004 and was developed by Lionhead Studios and published by Microsoft, it's a long standing franchise with the best game being the first one. Fable is one of those games once you start playing it you get more and more immersed by the game. Those kind of games are rare and Fable is one of the best ones. Game is set in a fantasy kingdom of Albion where players start the game from the perspective of a kid who grows into a hero or villain of the land.
The Hero of Oakvale is your standard fantasy warrior that can use all sorts of weapons and magics to beat the evil. Our hero may pray at the temples of Avo and Skorm. Offerings to the Temple of Avo will result in good points, while offerings to the Chapel of Skorm will result in evil points. Alignment choices will affect the appearance of our Hero. Good deeds would give him halo, evil deeds will grow him horns. Almost anything in the game will give some good or bad karma points. That is fun little aspect of the game that added to the immersion. Game goes so far in that regard that you will be able to marry and have kids. We get all that in a good looking engine that got upgraded with release of Fable Anniversary, so if you have a good hardware that could be a nice opportunity to grab this great game.
