Sanitarium is one of the weirdest point and click adventure games ever released. Players perspective in the game, unlike many point and click adventure games is isometric, and art style will remind you of games like Fallout and Arcanum. Sanitarium is very much a horror game with many psycho elements to it, DreamForge developers truly are a messed up bunch because they've come up with this mad world. Story takes us on a wild ride of a guy named Max who got knocked unconscious after car accident and he awakens from a coma in some kind of mental institution without memory who he is and how he got there.
Exploring Sanitarium will transport Max to many out worldly places filled with grotesque characters and creatures. Point and Click adventure elements this game had will make your brain melt at times. You never know for sure are you in real world or some psychic projection of Max messed up mind. Almost every chapter will transform Max into new life form and in some instances he will play as Aztec God and in next one as his dead sister, so yeah this game is crazy and twisted. Sanitarium story and puzzle elements will keep you guessing wtf is going on here. Check this game out if you like horror elements mixed with puzzle elements and interesting story.
