Gaming Retrospective - Tribes Vengeance

Multiplayer is always the most fun aspect of every FPS game. Some FPS games are best played in multiplayer and Tribes Vengeance is one of those games that was released in 2004 and developed by Irrational Games. Singleplayer is there and it is interesting enough, but the main feature of this game is multiplayer. Colorful environments and massively open areas is what this game is known for and this is where the most fun feature comes to play, freedom of movement.

Freedom of movement is what this game is all about. Players could use grappling hook and jetpack to fly around and use skis for sliding over the hills and slopes. Drivable vehicles are there to help against massed enemies and to help travel over the large open world maps in multiplayer games. Weapons were responsive and fun to use while doing all that stunt work with jetpack and skiing. There are many multiplayer modes in this game like Capture the Flag, Arena, Fuel, and many others. Every mode was fun to play. Tribes Vengeance is one of those games that reinvented FPS games with movement mechanics that you can see today in modern FPS games like Titanfall and Call of Duty.
