The Maker Challenge is a series of maker challenges presented by the Meadows & Makers podcast. Each challenge will allow 1-2 weeks for completion and submission. Top entries will be announced on the podcast and rewarded with STEEM. The Music Maker Challenge was the first challenge in the series.
Aqua / Hydroponic Garden - Maker Challenge No.2
Hydroponic gardens usually use no soil, instead a growing medium like baked clay balls or rockwool is used to grow the plants on. The plants gather their nutrients from the water medium or medium cups are sitting in. The water has to flow, or a bubbler used to keep the water oxygenated for the plant roots. Nutrients are added to the water with a Hydroponic system, an Aquaponic system uses well fed and maintained fish to provide the nutrients.
Aqua / Hydroponic Garden Post Specifications:
- A post detailing your own Aqua/Hydroponic Garden setup (new or existing) is preferred
- A post detailing your planned setup would be accepted
- A post detailing another persons setup - with their permission - would be accepted
Rewards for Selected Posts:
- The Top Four (4) Posts selected will receive 10 STEEM each.
- Additional Selected Posts will split the remaining 5 STEEM.
- 25 STEEM has been set aside for the Aqua / Hydroponic Garden Post Challenge payouts (@offgrid-online)
- 20 STEEM for the winners has been offered by @aggroed
- 45 STEEM total for the prize pool

- Entries will be accepted until the end of the day - Friday November 2nd, 2018
- Rewards will be paid out before the Meadows & Maker podcast on Saturday November 3rd, 2018 (5-7PM UTC)
- Results from the contest will be announced on the Saturday Nov 3rd podcast and in the show's curation post
