Goldenhour Photography - Lone Harbor Sentry

Lone Sentry.jpg

Returning to the harbor, after a day out on the water fills me with the familiar, relief, and sadness.
There's a sense of wonder out on my boat: What will come of the day? Will I see anything exciting? A whale, or dolphin?
Will it be an exciting adventure and a peasant one?

But returning back to port is sad because, well, a day on the water is done. And relief? well, that should be obvious!
"Not today, Poseidon. Not today!" So later tonight, we'll toast Dionysus, and give thanks that he intervened another time with his cousin, to bring us home safe.

For now, I'll smile upon this lone sentry, welcoming me home atop this buoy, during an evening Golden Hour. This seemed perfect for the #goldenhourphotography Challenge, by @juliank @photocontests
