Water Scarcity and Climate Change

There's supposed to be a river flowing, but this time of year all water is conserved for distributing among desert cities like Kerman, Yazd, Esfahan itself and many more. Fresh water scarcity becomes bigger and bigger problem nowadays.
And "The first major city to run out of water" award goes to... Cape Town! It was predicted that the city will reach the "Day Zero" this month, however, by cutting water consumption in half they managed to delay the inevitable to the next year. It is not imminent now, but it will still happen and Cape Town is just the beginning.

It is not only due to the poor water management, climate change plays major role here, making droughts more frequent and severe. According to models +0.25 C temperature change estimated to happen in next 10 years will increase drought likelihood up to 7 times. Just a quarter degree change will have some drastic consequences.

Think about it. What can you do to help? Small things like turning off the water while brushing teeth or taking a walk instead of driving are not that hard.
