Meet Juanita (top) and Juan (bottom) Jalapeno. These two were living large, high on the stalk, hanging tight just waiting for a frost to come and take away their last breath. Both were picked and processed before succumbing to freezing temperatures. If only I had saved some seeds from them, then they could live on. As it is, they have been dehydrated. Do not despair! They are used for seasoning chilies and other delicious dishes. Happy, fulfilled lives!
