When we were younger with my brother and friends we used to go the riverbank and there I accompany my brother to fish in its waters. My brother just catches some small fish where back home he will go and make a some rice gruel and it will be the flavoring. I do not recall that he even caught a sizeable fish but only a goby fish where they were just lurking around near the shore of the river.
In those years my brother and friends do not even make use of a purchased fishing rod and they just fashion one from a bamboo stick where the reel will just be a spool and is let out and drawn manually. As I recall it they also do not use a floater but only a lead sinker and then a bait of some flour that end up just being wasted. So when they cast their line in the water it will sink and usually fishes won't see it because it just lay down in the sand.
I was just always in the sideline watching my brother as he does the fishing and I myself in those years just couldn't afford buying fishing lines so I just let my brother do it and I would accompany him on the river. I told myself one day I would rent one of these wooden boats that is ashore and use it so I can fish from near the center of the river and along its edges so I can catch one with a good set of fishing rods.
Now that wish of mine will just for now remain in my wish list for I am now a disabled man with no luck of having a chance to make a mini vacation of my own. I could have done it if not only for my inability to move around with my ravishing sexy body but things just didn't go on what I am expecting but only to turn out pretty bad physically.
The only mini vacation that I get to experience today is when my father buys me my dialysis food of fried meat and rice with gravy and I get to enjoy eating when I start to begin to feel hungry because of the cleaning effect of dialysis. It is not even a mini vacation. Maybe I could just buy my friend's fish caught via electrocution and enjoy the fishes without having the trouble of fishing it but it ain't much fun other than grilling and eating it.
