HAIRSHARES!

I was so lucky to have stumbled across nepd's hairshares post (← that's it right there) about donating ponytails to organizations that make them into wigs.

I had done this once before, about 8 or 9 years ago, and loved it. My aunts and uncle have volunteered at a summer camp for children with cancer for as long as I've been alive, and one of my aunts was head nurse on a children's oncology word; so I know how much one wig can impact a person's life.

I'm also the type of person who thoroughly enjoys doing crazy things. So obviously I couldn't just cut off my ponytail - I had to go all the way. And I love it so much! Again!

And I only had one color blue.

The first cut. Ooooh, I've done it now. Gotta keep going.

I honestly thought about leaving it like this for a day just to see people's reactions.

Or putting makeup on one half of my face and a little mustache on the other.

But in the end, the clippers prevailed.

Yes, I shaved a bit too close in a few spots... It'll grow back.
