Headache is a symptom that can be caused by an endless list of diseases. I'll just pick one of the sinister causes

HYPERTENSION (high blood pressure)

This ailment is mostly asymptomatic (no symptoms) and always hidden, most findings are accidental on routine checkup.
Headache mostly occurs when it is severe, long standing and worsening. it usually comes with aging but there are several cases of young people with hypertension for various reasons.
The complications of HYPERTENSION include a wide range of end-organ damage e.g. kidney disease, heart disease and the most dramatic is a cerebrovascular accident (STROKE).
