Turmeric:
Turmeric is very famous for the content of curcumin, a substance that makes the bright yellow. Curcumin has many benefits, especially antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, anti-germ, etc. Thus, turmeric is good for the body to prevent free radicals, abdominal pain, cancer, fever, wound healing, immune system, healthy skin, heart, digestion, detoxify the liver, etc.
Honey:
Honey contains many minerals such as sodium, calcium, magnesium, aluminum, iron, phosphorus and potassium. Vitamins contained in honey are thiamin (B1), riboflavin (B2), ascorbic acid (C), pyridoxine (B6), niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, folic acid, and vitamin K.
How to make health herb turmeric honey
ingredients:
- 1/4 cup raw honey
- 1 teaspoon lemon
- 2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- Raw apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons pinch of black pepper (to enable curcumin)
- Mix turmeric and black pepper into a small bowl. Then add honey, lemon and apple cider vinegar. Shake or mix well with a spoon.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to one week.
How to consume:
- As a warm drink, mix 1 tablespoon with 12-16 ounces of warm water and drink.
- For topping, 2 teaspoons of whole wheat bread
- Into a smoothie or juice, add 1 tablespoon
Caution:
Turmeric is generally no toxicity and side effects, but for some people it can cause abdominal pain, nausea and dizziness. So it should not be too much to consume turmeric.
