WHAT is OIL PULLING and WHY You Should Do It?

So I have heard of Oil Pulling, but I had never tried it before until now, or even knew what it is or what it is good for, so I finally decided to check it out and try it out for myself.

WHAT IS OIL PULLING?

Oil pulling is an amazing ORAL DETOXIFICATION procedure, that is done by swishing a tablespoon of coconut oil in your mouth for at least 10 minutes, but the ideal time is 20 minutes. You can also use olive or sesame oil, but #1 recommendation is the coconut oil.

Oil pulling is an ancient Ayurvedic trick used to clean (detoxify) the oral cavity. Just like soap cleans our dirty dishes, the oil pulling literally SUCKS TOXINS out of your mouth, which creates a clean, antiseptic oral environment which prevents cavities and disease.

Oil pulling is done with the coconut oil. You can also use olive or sesame oil, but the #1 recommendation is the coconut oil. It is one of the BEST ways to REMOVE BACTERIA and promote HEALTHY GUMS and TEETH.

Oil pulling is also one of the best ways to naturally WHITEN TEETH, plus it has been proven to be more effective than flossing. This is so far the best and the safest way to whiten your teeth naturally, plus all the other amazing oral and health benefits that it provides.

It has been advised by the Ayurveda to gargle the oil to purify the entire system mainly because each section of the tongue is connected to different organs such as lungs, liver, kidneys, heart, stomach, colon, small intestines and spine. It is very similar to TCM or reflexology.

PROCEDURE OF OIL PULLING

Use 1 tablespoon of organic coconut oil and swirl in your mouth for ideally 20 minutes. (Even 10 minutes is better than nothing). Do not go over the 20 minutes, since after the 20 minutes all the bacteria restores back into your mouth.

It seems like a big task, 20 minutes, and that is why it took me so long to start practicing this procedure, but it is actually really easy to do. The best time to do it is in the morning, so when you are taking a shower or getting ready, it is a perfect time to swirl some coconut oil in your mouth.

It is recommended to do this procedure daily for at least 2 weeks.
After you spit out the coconut oil, rinse your mouth and brush it. And that is it.
