"Apple a day keeps the doctor away from me "
is a popular and actually absolutely true statement.
We are always wondering what new and new, exotic fruits and foods we eat to be healthy, smart, successful and beautiful, and we really have to reach out to our little-known apples.
Here's what you expect if you run the "apple per day" rule:
1. You will improve your stomach.
Apples contain fiber that balances the bowels and reduces the risk of diseases such as hemorrhoids, diverticulitis and some cancers.
2. Your cholesterol will be normalized because of the pectin contained in the apples.
3. Reduce the risk of asthma
4. You will lose weight if you eat one apple before eating.
5. Your body will be packed with vitamin C, A, phosphorus, iron, and calcium.
6. Your heart will be stronger because of the potassium contained in the apples.
To take advantage of all these apple blessings, however, you have to pick outgrown without pesticides. So the next time you go past a crate of opaque apples on a farm market, do not overlook them.
