Why do women gain more weight than men? Many people have this question in their mind. The answer is that you cannot compare women and men in this case, except for food habits, even in that case men have the advantage of burning more calories than women, by their faster metabolic rate, heart, kidneys and muscles. The odour of these substances are enough to do the damage. It is hard to avoid these stuffs in your day to day life, but you can use them with caution.

These two can lead to decrease in the production of progesterone, which again leads to oestrogen dominance. Make sure you relax yourself through yoga or meditation to avoid stress and maintain a proper sleeping habit to avoid the hormonal imbalance.

                                    Pharmaceutical Drugs and alcohol

Liver helps in metabolising the oestrogen, so you must avoid anything which effects the proper functioning of the liver. There are a few things known to disrupt the liver's functioning, the pharmaceutical drugs and alcohols, if had more can cause malfunctioning of liver.

                                             Magnesium deficiency

Magnesium helps in metabolising the oestrogen. A low fruits and vegetables diet causes magnesium deficiency, which can lead to oestrogen dominance. Try to eat more vegetables and fruits to improve the magnesium level in your body.

                                                 Not eating or over eating

Both are known to increase the chances of gaining weight. Women often skip their meals in the name of diet, which slows down the metabolism and leads to fat storage.
