CHAOS cook KusaTsuri *3: Healthy Breakfast Challenge - Amaranth breakfast

Healthy and delicious?

YES, YES and YESSS!!!

So, what ingredients did I use? (2-3 Persons)

Not much! See:

  • (popped) Amaranth
  • 2 Bananas
  • 2 Kiwi
  • 400g soy yogurt
  • 3-4 tablespoons honey (depends on how sweet you wanna have it)
  • 12g Acai powder

How to make it?

If you do not use popped amaranth then you have to cook the amaranth first for about 30 minutes. After finishing you basically have just to mix everything together:

adding the soy jogurt (after cooking is finished!)

adding the acai powder

mixing everything with honey

And the only thing left now is to decorate it :D
Just take a few tablespoons of the creamy substance, put them in a glass and top it with banana and kiwi slices. Repeat it until the glass is full.

Some tips and suggestions:

  1. I didn't tried it out myself but you can use instead of the acai powder also another fruit powder or if you want some chocolate/cacao (if it should be healthy then I would suggest to use darker chocolate/cacao)
  2. If you have to cook the amaranth, plan the 30 minutes! You can preper the amaranth the day before so you only have to mix everything at the end or you start cutting the fruits while it is cooking.
  3. I used 3 tablespoons of honey but it wasn't that sweet.
  4. You can add some coconut if you like it 😉.
