Sixteen weeks of full force in your face; get some more tonight!
I just can't bring myself to do weekly show posts for Full Force Thursday when I'm not getting as much of my artistic content out, so here we are with another awesomely huge, metal clad update. What I definitely do suggest you do is give @msp-waves a follow, as all programs get an upcoming show post and we're ramping up coverage and reminders there. In any case, what it means is that today is a good day to die, with over twelve hours of metal broken into episode lists to slam into your ears with extreme force! Last week was a hilarious time, as I — crimsonclad, Miss Modness if you nasty — well, I got pretty satched. We had a few drinks, played a random assortment of great music, and just let it all go! The dark and cold encroaches, and that means it's time for ice and storms and all of the best metal that comes with the depths of winter. I can't wait to talk with you guys about what winter is like where you live, atmospheric and black imagery, and the beauty and pain inherent in the emotions we feel during this season. Lots of deeper melodeath and black metal tonight, with some upbeat favourites tied in to the winter theme.
No mittens required! Make a hot toddie and come splash in the pond with the rest of the No Pants Piranhas by singing of mashing your keyboard LIVE with ME at the PALnet Discord interactive audience channel! You can also listen to the radio directly on our site, through our Twitch stream, or in voice chat on Discord: harder, better, faster, stronger.... less bandwidth. WHAT TIME IS IT AGAIN?
When last we left off, we got hella spooky, we shared our favourite metal and concert stories, and I got trashed on air while we had a hell of a party together!
Here are three shows in a row's worth of playlists for you to check out. In Episode 13, the occult took center stage as we explored themes and imagery. It turned into one of the most interesting shows ever as we discussed numerology, myth, mystery, and theoretical science. Episode 14 was quite random, but turned into a meandering walk down memory lane as we shared our favourite concert tales and metal stories. It was an interactive night where we got to know each other more intimately and share our passions and our laughter. And because each week seems to raise the bar to insane new levels, episode 15 came in with a few bottles of bourbon and got me completely soused. I played music on the fly, said damn the theme, and we had a headbanging great time! Honestly, I love these playlists with the burning passion of a thousand suns.
Each of these shows were crazy entertaining and interesting — thanks to YOU guys.
Keep coming and chatting. Tell me how the stars in a black winter sky tease at your heart the way the crisp winds tease icy tears from the corners of your eyes. Laugh at last week's utter absurdity. Make memes out of the copious ridiculous material I inadvertently give you. Yell, "WE'RE SATCHED AND HAVIN' A TIME," over and over.
There's just nothing that I enjoy more than playing my favourite music really loud and shooting the shit with you guys. Thank you.
