Grow on Steemit , Useful tips to creat a great content - Part 2

Tips you should know when you want to create a content on STEEMIT.

Well, if you read the first part you know that i like to help you to create a great content so you can grow on steemit.

If you’re a content creator or content marketer, you know how it can  be difficult to #writing content that people actually see. Every minute:

  • Blog writers post 1400 new blog posts
  • Facebook users share 2,460,000 pieces of content
  • Twitter users tweet 277,000 times
  • Pinterest users pin 3,472 images
  • Youtube users upload 72 hours of new video
  • Instagram users post 216,000 new photo
  • Email users send 204,000,000 messages
  • and now #Steemit ...

With so much content being created every minute, you need to  find ways to make your content stand out from the pack. The first step  is creating really great content–content that readers or viewers will  not only enjoy, but find addictive. When content is addictive, it draws people back to it over and over again and hopefully you will get an #upvote

1- Write Benefit-Driven #Headlines. The first thing  your readers see is the headlines. Based on the headlines, they will  decide whether should they read further. An easy way to come out with  benefit-driven headlines is to use the headline formula. But coming out  with the headlines are not enough. You should also test your headline  and see which have the most engagement/conversion.

2- Write longer #articles to signal quality. Have  you been writing articles that are between 400 to 600 words? If so,  please stop. Unless you are like Seth Godin, most are not able to build  an audience with short articles. Longer articles tend to rank and  convert better (average length of Google top 10 results for 20,000  keywords is about 2000 words). To create longer articles, you can  increase the number of items (101 vs. 10 ways to …) or write more depth  by providing examples.

3- Use short introductions. The introduction is the second most important component of your post. Do not try to be long-winded and beat around the bush.

4- Create audience persona. Did you try creating an  audience persona whenever you write a blog post? An audience persona  will help you make your blog more targeted and relevant. Like starting a  business, the more targeted it is, the higher chance it will have  success. You can use Twitter / LinkedIn to learn more about your target  audience.

5- Create proven and share-worthy content. One sure  way to increase the chances of the success of your post is to use the  Skyscraper Technique by Brian Dean. Use Buzzsumo to find out what are  the popular topics in your niche, and make it even better.

6- Write evergreen content. Evergreen contents are  contents that will stay relevant for a long period. Usually, evergreen  contents targeted at the beginners and focused on a niche.

7- Provide content upgrades. Content upgrades are  resources that are specific to the page your reader is reading. It is  not a generic #ebook or toolkit that you offer on every page of your  site. Examples of content upgrades are PDF version of the article,  summarized checklist, templates, and a bonus version of the article.

8- Ensure that your content is readable. Readable  contents are free of technical jargons and filled with short sentences.  One way to measure the readability of your content is to use the  Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level. You can use Hemingway App to calculate the  readability of your content, and how to improve it.
