Yesterday Sunday 28th my second Steem Powered Social Project was held in Mérida, Venezuela. This time 200 breakfasts were given to people in need. Thanks to the support and donation received from fellow Steemians, and specially thanks to @freddy0274 work together with his family and friends.

A week ago we had our first event which was a success (100 breakfasts), so this time we went bigger increasing the amount of food given away. Also for this second event, Freddy chose to do it in a local church´s community room. This way people could be seated and everything would be more organized and away from the streets.

Again, Freddy received a lot of support from his family, friends, and neighbors. He told me that this project, helping the ones that are struggling the most in his community makes him feel so good, blessed for having the opportunity to at least give a hearty meal to all this people. Also the love he receives back from the people being fed gives Freddy courage and motivation to keep going, growing the project to each week go bigger and bigger, to be able to help more people each time.

This time the meal was Arepa filled with ham and cheese (same as last time but this time the portion was a bit bigger), Nestea to drink and we also added a fruit.

In this second event there were a lot of kids. It is great to be able to cheer them up and help them go through the day.

Needless to say, we are already organizing the next Sundays event. We are working on it, thinking what to do this time, where and for how many people. One thing is for sure, it will be bigger than the last one. That is one of our main goals, to keep giving more each weekend, all thanks to the support received either through upvotes or through donations.

BIG THANKS to everyone supporting this. Thanks to those donating SBD: @donkeypong, @steeminator3000, @faithcalls, @bethalea. And also HUGE thanks to everyone upvoting our posts, specially to @cryptoctopus, @donkeypong, @acidyo, @surpassinggoogle, @sndbox, @kingscrown, @tarekadam and everyone else who supported our posts about this project.

Again, we feel so thankful for the support received that it encourages to keep doing things like this. Turning upvotes into Social Events feels great! And knowing that it is all Steem Powered makes us aware of the power of this Blockchain. Possibilities are infinite and it is all up to us how we use this amazing platform.

THANKS EVERYONE!!
