By simply calling on @helpbot (by mentioning it within any comment) and asking it a question, it will respond with its best known answer or direct you in the right direction via links to other Steemit posts. It will respond based off keywords and learned AI on previous (approved upon) answers via regular uses during the beginning stages. Those beginning stages I speak of are right now! So for now lets focus on data collection...

Phase 1 - Data Collection
The data collection stage for a base of which the A.I to learn the best answers to respond to questions with, for example: How do I Power Up STEEM? / How do I transfer SBD / STEEM to another user? / How do I use the upvote slider? / How come I don't have a upvote slider? etc... I will also be building out the FAQ responses by using other users answers from posts and comments in the past / my own knowledge. I believe most advanced questions will come with a more accurate reply via searching for related content, almost like cheetah does, and using keywords / tags from posts to find the best response, for example: How do I become a Witness? would return links to known posts like Complete Witness Installation Guide.
@helpbot's Current Functionality
As mentioned above, since this is a data collection period, helpbot it will simply be recording the questions & commenting the question back to the asker so that interested users can simply follow helpbots comment section and reply to that users questions via their own accounts. The answers will then be recorded and I can personally run through them and approve good responses. So that direct question matching 75% or so in language can be answered with the same response.

Is if you have the time, and know the answer to a question asked of helpbot... answer it! 😎 This will help the helpbot collect much needed data, and on top of that, you get to help out a fellow Steemian in need! A Big WIN WIN! It's easy, just make sure to check in on helpbots comment feed, and reply directly from there.

Depending on how frequently the helpbot is used and how many of its questions are actually answered accurately will determine when I begin the next phase. So stay tuned.
I guess that's it for now I will activate the bot momentarily. It should be able to handle the frequency of question as long as it doesn't get overwhelmed, I am working on backlog answering code as we speak.
