Come along with me to the district of Shanhaiguan in the city of Qinhuangdao, China. This city is located in Hebei province and is a place I have called home for 3 years.

The Old Dragon's Head （老龙头）is where the Great Wall of China finishes! This is the end of the Great Wall of China!

Most of this area has been rebuilt because it has been destroyed. Although you can't see a fully ancient great wall, you at least get to see the point where it does not continue anymore.

Old vs Modern Great Wall

As you can see here, there is the original great wall which has mostly been destroyed, but the modern great wall is what surrounds it.

Most people only envision the Great Wall stretching for miles in both directions, so I think one can feel surprised to see it come to an end on a beach in Shanhaiguan. Also, the majority of tourists usually visit the Great Wall of China in Beijing because few of them actually come to Qinhuangdao. In this video, I can't show you where the Great Wall of China begins, but I can at least show you the end! Hahaha.
