The Killed In Action During The Korean War Along The Corridor Of The Memorial

The memorial building was a very nice looking architecture.
As I entered into the building, the first thing I saw was the corridor.

The corridors were empty. But if you look at carefully, you can find the black stone boards standing along the corridors.

Oh my god, those names were killed in action during the korean war.

I had read their names for a while. They were someones’ sons and someones’ husband.
My father also took part in the Korean War, but he didn’t tell me the story of the war in detail.
Only words he told me was there were too much casualties after the battlefield and his friends joined together were almost dead during the war.

Turning to the other corridors, there were also names written in English.

Mainly American solders were sacrificed in Korean War. And 16 countries in the name of the United Nation took part in the Korean War along with U.S and Korea.

Freedom is not free.

That’s right.
But we must remember that all these sacrifices were caused by the One Dictator’s delusion.
His name was Kim Il Sung.

I was so sorry such losses suffered during the Korean War.

At the corner, I saw one couple sitting on the howitzer.

I took photo of them, because they looked so peaceful.
It seemed so ironic. Peace among the weapons.
