Modern Japan , Meiji Restoration

Feudal Japan, Changed quite a lot with the revolutions of Emperor Meiji in 1868 and his innovations took great strides for today's modernity.

This era started when Emperor Meiji ended the Tokugawa shogunate in Japan it was a feudal military ruling system which was holding Japan back. Meiji Revolutionary period , which coincided with the 10th year of japan, filled with innovations that the emperor Meiji made in an economic and social environment in order to create modern Japan.

In this period, Capital changed to Tokio from Kyoto, the railway was built, the Meiji constitution was adopted, the census was carried out, compulsory military service was introduced, the cabinet system was changed. Well as you can clearly understand a lot of new stuff happened in short time and as Turkish nation it looks quite similar with ours , however we are troubling to maintain it that way.

Well with the economic expansion and development they thought it would be cool to attack some of the countries , They beated China , Russia , and they took Taiwan and Korea , they eventually gave those countries back , however they went quite mad in this era.

Dramatically with his dead in 1912 Japanese nation shooked a little and a little fun fact there is still a Meiji temple in Japan

To sum up , Meiji restoration was one of the biggest leaps ever happened in history of the nations. In the middle of 1850's in a short span like 30 years , when there was samurais around in the Japan with Feudal system changed remarkably. If we can say that Japan is great at technology and other things they owe most of it to this revolution.
