El Cao is one of many small Spanish restaurants in Arroyo. The restaurant is, literally, tucked away in a corner of the Plaza De La Tribuna, or the fountain square, as is known to the expats.
I like the place. It has a relaxed, easy going and leisurely atmosphere. The clientele is, shall we say, more mature tourists. So, I fit right in.
I had the pork fillet with salad. The fillet was a bit dry. It would have been great if it came with some sauce.
