It's almost 30 days from the last day I climbed the roof for solar installation on planet Earth.

But what can I say, "I love the sun", so I had to climb again yesterday. How it came to that point will shock you...

Last week Friday, I got a call from a strange number, the first thing he said was "Steem solar, I would need you in my office".

After few minutes of interaction, it turns out that he got my number through one of my jingles at 90.5FM AKBC radio station and he needed a solar in his wife's shop.

To cut the long story short, I went to his office on Monday 15th July,2024, we negotiate, he made payment and yesterday beign Thursday, I installed the solar at his wife's phone shop.

The shop is a phone assoccories shop, they are also planning of adding commercial charging of phones as one of their services.

I think it's a great idea for him to go solar as he complain of spending too much money on buying petrol every day. The fumes from the generator isn't good to inhale.

Items used

  • 4 pieces of 200watt canadian panels
  • 1 piece of 1.1KVA inverter
  • 1 piece of 60A PWM charge controller
  • 1 piece of 220Ah Tubular battery
  • 15 yards of 6mm DC cable
  • 3 yards of 10mm DC cable

The installation

I started with mounting the panels. It was a bungalo building, so the height wasn't that much.

First, I sort out my panels and every other components and we took it to his wife's shop just within Uyo. And it is about 20 minutes walk from my shop, so it wasn't really far perse.

Next was the mounting of panels. Over here I was only communicating with the sun and panels...😀.

I was also fortunate enough to see someone who could take me pictures unlike other times and day where I don't see no one.

And after spending 2 hours up there on the roof, check out the result , the panels were all line up....🙂

It was then time to connect the battery and the inverter.

Oh no, the wires on the wall doesn't look arranged 🤦‍♂️. I later arranged them and clipped to the wall.

I finished the installation by 6pm and I run a few minutes testing. Check out the outside...😀....., and here comes the light!

Mr. Isreal was not just happy seeing constant electricity in his shop, he was so grateful for my services and has promised to promote my business...in addition, he sent additional.

This is the good relationship I want to have with my customers. Their satisfaction is my pride!

This is another win to Steem solar and electricals. This is the first solar sales and installation for the month of July,2024. I hope and wish for more this month and the coming months...
