This is Moscow. 2016. VDNH. Exhibition Of Achievements Of The National Economy.
That year we decided to celebrate the birthday of our youngest daughter in Moscow. She was 8 years old then. We spent a wonderful 3 days in Moscow. One day was devoted to entertainment at VDNKH, another day the daughter stayed in the Central Children's Store "Detsky Mir" on Lubyanka. It's not just a store that sells toys, it's a real children's world. You can go there for days and have fun. I haven't been to this place for a long time and was very surprised by the big changes that have taken place since Soviet times. The world is changing.
And what is VDNH? This Exhibition was conceived sometime in the 30s of the last century by General Secretary Stalin to show the superiority of the Soviet system over the capitalist one. We know where this Soviet system is now, and VDNH almost disappeared at the end of the last century. But now it has been revived and this place has begun to develop again!
Friends, if you are in Moscow, then make a note of visiting VDNH and the Central Children's World on Lubyanka Square. By the way, this square is also famous for another institution - the FSB.
