introduction
Today I will be be writing about the new development in my community, in akwa Ibom state Nigeria.
Construction of roads is one of the most important when it comes to development, so In other for a particular environment to experience great changes and new development to be introduced.
Construction of roads helps in promoting a particular environment no matter how small or local the place is.

The road displayed here is from afaha nsit local government down to uyo local government, it's was commission by his Excellency ex governor udom Emmanuel.
The road has really added a lot to the community, before it was not as busy as this but now, people now come out with different ideas to promote the society, new houses are now built and traders are now out to the street to sell.

And now the transportation is now less because we no longer have issues travelling, before it's was very difficult to travel an it was very expensive because taxi was not able to come in to the undeveloped place.
But now there now flow in and out, now making movement easy.
I believe through the construction of this road that people will be encouraged to bring in their investment to the community, like companies, hotels, schools, hospital..etc
The population in my locality is increasing everyday, new people are comming in, government now post youth corpers down there.
Through this the community is now recognized and I pray that more development comes in, and I invite my fellow Steemians that has never step foot in akwa ibom state Nigeria, to visit and experience the joy and feeling now.
