SteemTV #17 : Let's talk about food !(Nigeria)

Hi guys, It's another weekend with SteemTV Show....

Today's edition of SteemTV focuses on food and I will be speaking with @ninapenda. She is a chef who manages her little food business in Port Harcourt - Nigeria.

What inspired her to become a chef? What is her favourite type of cuisine to cook and why? What are the challenges involved in professional cooking as a whole? What is the most challenging dish she has ever cooked, and how did she overcome it? What advice would she give to aspiring chefs who are just starting their culinary journey?

Let's find out, but before then, let's talk about food...

Food...., food, food!
It's fantastic as just a mention of that word makes a lot of living things happy. You can't go for an occasion and exempt food, you can't stay at home and exempt food, you can't visit a friend and exempt food. In fact, food is part of human life, no matter what perspective you see it.

Fried Rice

We cannot overemphasize the value of food which is not limited to:
๐Ÿ“Œ Producing energy
๐Ÿ“Œ Maintaining bodily functions
๐Ÿ“Œ Repair damaged tissues.

Researchers have done it so well that they have discovered the different classes of food which when eaten in the right proportions will help us grow better.

Garri and Soup(Nigerian food)

To further make life easier, individuals with a passion for making food, have decided to take up the business of cooking and they are often referred to as "chefs" "cooks" "caterers" etc.

Beans

In this part of the world, especially in Nigeria, the cooking business is a fast-growing sector to which many have benefited immensely.

Some of these professionals specialize in preparing food at restaurants, hotels, schools, catering companies and lots more.

Did you know?

There are 4 levels of chef

  • Executive chef,
  • Sous chef
  • Pastry chef
  • Line chef
  • Prep chef

Executive Chefs are the highest-ranking chefs in a kitchen, these ones oversee the entire culinary operation, and they do not cook.

Sous Chefs are the next on the list. They assist the executive chef in managing the kitchen.

Pastry Chefs happens to be my favourite ๐Ÿฅฐ specialises in desserts and baked goods.

Line Chefs are responsible for cooking specific dishes on the menu.

Prep cooks are responsible for preparing ingredients for the other chefs.

On Steem TV today, I will be talking to a pastry chef who is very good at what she does, one with great passion and drive towards her business. Let's make welcome @ninapenda to the program today ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

@ninapenda is managing a little restaurant in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. If you ever enter this area, feel free to visit her restaurant using the address below, a few weeks from now I will feature her on the Interview showcase.

Food is very important and should be consumed responsibly. It is the essence of humans, so be careful of your food choice today.

If you find it difficult to get a pastor fish done, contact someone who can, speak with friends and keep learning.

Be dynamic in your cooking pattern, don't eat the same kind of food every day and all the time.

Enjoy food, We deserve it!
