The Social Network: A Writing & Reviews Contest Entry

I have watched quite a number of movies based on true stories in my lifetime. However, the movie I am going to review here is one that a lot of us would be able to relate with its protagonist.

That movie is THE SOCIAL NETWORK (2010)

First off, this movie is an attempt to put in motion picture, the life of young Mark Zuckerburg in the early days of his invention - The Facebook. Yeah, that was what it was called before "The" was later taken off its name.

If I were to summarize this movie in one sentence, I would say this.

The Social network is a fast paced, surprisingly intense and dramatic motion picture about the life of young tech geniuses that keeps you gripped from start to finish.

Trust me, if you ever used Facebook, or hope to someday, then this is a movie that you should watch.

The actor that plays the part of the protagonist, Jesse Eissenberg, puts in such a masterful performance that one may wonder why he ever chose to act in the slow, boring 2013 movie- Night moves.

Here, he was on top of his craft, playing the part of a naive young undergraduate who had no social life, but was genius enough to build an application to boost the social life of people like him.

There are also some unhappy aspects of the movie where lawsuits fly. But don't let me be a spoiler. It's a movie you should watch.
