Animal Activities #02

Hi Friends,

It is our responsibility to treat our farm animals in a good manner and shun the inhumane treatment that most farmers who use them for labor do. We should take proper care of them because it will yield higher productivity and also help those animals look healthier.

Animal welfare must be our priority. We must take care of them in terms of proper treatment. We raise domesticated animals for different purposes. Some of us use them for farm labor or food production. Farm animals help us with various farm activities. In fact, these animals do most of the farm work.

It is our duty to help them live comfortable lives by providing shade, space, and freedom of movement. The house we constructed for them must be a place that allows fresh air to enter. Doing this will remove feces and urine odors.

Food is necessary; we must give them quality food to eat. Farm animals have specific nutritional needs. We must ensure they eat food containing nutrients so that we can achieve better results, giving them more energy for farm work, or some farmers may decide to sell them at a profit if they are well-fed.

Water is life. Farm animals need sufficient water to aid digestion of food intake. After those animals finish eating, their farmers must provide them with water to flush out the waste products. Cleanliness of our farm animals is compulsory. Ensure you clean their house and pack their waste that may cause odor to people in the environment. Cleanliness is very important because it will not cause more bacteria that are very dangerous to their health.

Sick farm animals must be isolated from others and a veterinary doctor must be called to attend to the sick one. Let the veterinary doctor diagnose what may be causing the sickness in order to give them proper treatment, which may include medication or injections.

I will like to invite @pea07, @yhudy and @gracyakan to come and participate in this contest.

Thanks for reading through, God bless you
