I've worked at PT. Asai Mula Perdatasa for 5 month. A private company having its address in Beurandang Village, Syamtalira Bayu District, North Aceh Regency. This company is among eight companies that have been trusted by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to distribute 3 kg LPG for the Poor for the north aceh region.
Each company will distribute 3 kg LPG in several sub-districts in the north aceh area. 3 kg LPG is distributed to the poor, vulnerable to poverty and micro-enterprises that have been identified as recipients of direct assistance to be provided by the Government. 3 kg LPG is sold at a low price because it has received a subsidy from the government, the beneficiary only pays IDR. 18.000,-.
Before 08.00 the entire fleet will be dispatched to the assignment location for the distribution of 3 kg LPG. This company has 3 fleets. Every day between 1500 to 2000 LPG cylinders are distributed to the poor through a base designated by the company. Especially for drivers and fleet assistants, they are only off on Sundays, while on national holidays they still work. This condition is because the distribution of 3 kg LPG for the poor cannot be delayed to prevent a shortage of goods. When goods are scarce, usually rogue traders will play with prices and sell at a higher price (not the official price). The poor will become victims.
I do this work with all my heart. I enjoy doing work that is in direct contact with people, especially those who are less fortunate. Every morning I make sure all the fleets have left the warehouse before 8 am and check the number of cylinders to be distributed. One fleet will be fully filled with 560 3 kg LPG cylinders. Before departing, each driver will be given a route or base to share. Sometimes they can only come home at night. The work is tiring, but they get good welfare from this work. Jobs related to the livelihood of many people always require things to be sacrificed. The drivers and assistant have very little time with their families. The other side of their life on this job. I'm lucky to only work 8 hours a day so I have more time to do other things like taking a freelance job at the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Lhokseumawe City.

In addition to distributing 3 kg LPG which is subsidized by the government, this company also distributes non-subsidized 5.5 kg LPG. This red LPG tube is usually used by traders or households that are classified as financially capable. 5.5 kg LPG is distributed in limited quantities every month at a price per tube of around IDR 75,000 - 80,0000,-

There is no day without challenges, especially when it comes to work. Whatever your job, there are bound to be obstacles that need to be overcome. The bigger and bigger the obstacle, the more vulnerable we are to lose the motivation to face it. With all the busyness in the real world, I keep trying to motivate myself to spend time, energy and thoughts to develop a community of steem entrepreneurs together with the team.
