The picture of the day is about the picture I took on the west Africa social activity which is also know as wasa.
This pictures was my traditional wears and it has been a long time I put on this great wears but because of this great occasion that was celebrated in our barracks we were all asking to wear our traditional wears and also we are to dance our traditional music.
This wasa is a celebration in which every tradition are to dance their traditional dance, and also put on their traditional wears and also acts their traditional drama in which they will use their language to act it.
So I and my mom and also the others edo&delta women put on our traditional wears and also try to practice our traditional music because the information came very late to our hearing but with the help of my mom everything went well.
This traditional wears made me look mature and also it makes me look like a new king in the community, many people taught it was my father because I resemble my father very well, but immediately i enter into the stage to dance and my traditional hat fell down the whole people start shouting, some were surprised seeing me on traditional wears.
This traditional wears was very nice on me and also on my lovely mom, some people say Indeed you are really an urhobo man, some people even say your outfit has already says were you come from.
My mom and I put on thesame colour of rappers which is red but different patterns, they even ask us to cook our traditional food which we prepare banga soup and starch.
It was a wasa to remember because every tradition was given a award and also a little token to share with the fellow people that dance with them.
