My apartment has a small outside patio area that I have been trying to grow vegetables, but my apartment is also surrounded by lots of trees and squirrels so that
- it doesn't get much sun to grow anything.
- squirrels! squirrels!! squirrels!!! I have no idea how they find out but every time I plant some seeds they will dig up the seeds and eat them all. So I tried some ideas to fight back squirrels but nothing worked.

I just gave up on patio gardening because there is no way to prevent ninja squirrels from stealing my seeds. They are just very smart animals!
So I decided to move my gardening inside, my office. My office space gets more natural light and it's perfect for small plants like microgreens and stuff. I bought the microgreen kit and started my office gardening.
I just place it by the window and water it every couple days.
2 days after, little guys started to sprout.
Today, one week later, they got pretty big!
I am not sure if they keep going or they are about ready. Do I need to wait couple more days so the brown stuff will fall off and the leaf will become greener or something? I guess I will wait and see what happens.
実のところ、これがカイワレなのかも定かではないのだが。。。マイクログリーンってカイワレってことでいいのかな。
カイワレキットの中にはたくさんの種類の種が入っていて、それぞれ違う名前が付いている。
ただ、写真を見るとどれも似たり寄ったりで何が実際違うのかはいまいちわかっていない。
カイワレキットは水をあげるだけなのですごく簡単でいいのですが、本当はもっと土っぽいガーデニングがしたかった。
でもオフィスに土は絶対まずい。
水でレタスとか、アルグラ？ルッコラ？とかハーブとかできないかなぁと考え中。
いい室内のガーデニング情報ありますか？
外でガーデニングするとリスに全部食べられちゃうのですが、リス対策とかみんなしてるんでしょうか？
ニンニク水を土に吹きかけるとリスが嫌がって寄ってこないとかネットで見たのでやってみたのですが、逆に何匹もたくさん寄ってきて食べ放題ありますよの宣伝になってしまった。。。ガク
