Greeting Everyone
If you visit New Comers' Community you will found that hundreds of newcomers are joining the platform every day. This is a good sign for the growth of the community but on other hand, the greeters are facing much more burden than before. Handling all of them and managing their other responsibilities at the same is a little bit difficult for them in my opinion but it is appreciatable that they are doing their best in this hard time.
In the past two weeks while visiting New Comer's Community I found that newly joined users are making too many mistakes - The greeters are trying their best to guide them but as you can see the numbers of the newcomers are growing each and every day. Now it is a little bit difficult task for the greeter to guide each and every new user.
As a community, it is also our responsibility to help and guide those newly joined users. So I thought why not start a contest where we can reward those members who will spend their valuable time to guide others. So here is the idea of the contest.
Contest
The contest is simple as now you are a senior member of the community. You have already completed your achievements and have enough knowledge to find the mistakes of the newcomers and guide them on how they can avoid them.
In this contest, you have to do some simple tasks like:
- Visit New Comers' Community.
- Welcome newcomers to the platform ( If Possible ).
- Read their Achievement posts.
- Identify their Mistakes and Guide them.
- Motivate new members to keep active on the platform.
This will help Greeters to easily verify newcomers and it will also help the newcomers to learn more about the community. When they learn about their mistakes in their earlier stage they can grow on the platform in a more sufficient way. Which I think is a good step for the betterment of the community.
Now after that make a weekly report about your guidance you have provided to the users in this whole week. You can use screenshots or the links of your comment in your report. Use #LHG tags so I can easily find your entry and you can also link your entry in the comment section of this post.
Rules
Everyone is welcome to join this contest but must need to be eligible with these two rules.
- You have to be a verified Achivenement4 Member of The Newcomers Community.
- Your name should not on any Plagiarizer's list Especially on EndingPlagiarism.
Now Lets Talk about Rewards
Actually I am no one to reward your valuable time which you will/have spend in guiding new users but what I can do is:
1st Reward:
10 Steems to the participant who will guide the most Newcomers
2nd Reward:
10 Steems to the 2nd Place
3rd Reward:
5 Steems to the 3rd Place
4th Reward:
5 Steems to the 4th Place
The Rewards can be high in the future if we get any Supporter / Support. You can post your report by Sunday at 11:59 GMT+5 and the Result will announce on Monday with the next contest posts. If you have any difficulty or have any questions you can ask me in the comment section.😊
