Hello fellow steemian in steem kids and parents community, I greet you all, I believe your day is going well. It's a pleasure to present my entry on this week food diary contest. I present my entry on Yummy Cocoyam with Beans porridge.
Ingredients
Cocoyam
Beans
Dry fish
Crayfish
Red oil
Onions
Scent leaf
Seasoning cubes, salt and pepper
Steps
Select the beans, wash, put inside the pot and boil it on fire. As the beans is on fire,
Peal the Cocoyam, wash and keep it aside. Note: When you are washing the Cocoyam, you need to be very careful because it crashes when washing.
- Remove the beans from the fire, drain and keep. The beans does not need to be very soft at this point.
- Put the wash Cocoyam inside a pot, add the fish, crayfish, slice onions, pepper, salt, seasoning cubes, desirable water, stir and have a taste. Then pour the beans on top of the Cocoyam, use cooking spoon and level the beans to cover all areas in the pot.
Place the pot on fire and allow it for 30minute. As the meal is on fire, wash and slice the scent leaf.
After 30minute, open the pot and add oil on one spot, close and allow it for another 10minute.
- Open the pot, stir it very well for everything to mixed together, add the slice scent leaf and off the lights.
Here comes the yummy Cocoyam with beans porridge.
This meal can be taken at any time. It can be use as breakfast, lunch or dinner.
