Here begin another week in Food challenge contest week #70. Am glad to participate this week in this challenge to share my food diary. My food diary for this week is going to be on Atama Soup. One of my local delicious delicacy meal.
Atama leafs can be cook with Melon, Water leaf or what we known as Abak in my dailet. This soup is delicious if you know how to prepare it very well. Atama leaves is one of the medicinal leafs that is good for fertility. It's boost ovulation and help in increasing libido. Atama leafs also boost the production of the red blood cells. It is a fast wounds healing leaf.
Today I will be showing the step of cooking Atama leafs with water leaf.
Ingredients used
Atama leaves
Water leaf
Red oil
seasoning cubes, Salt, Onions, Pepper.
Preparation method
- Firstly, I went to the market and bought the necessary things for the cooking of the soup. Coming back home, I slices the Atama leaves into smaller particles. Note, it has two stages of slicing it as show below
- Wash and steam the meat with onions, pepper, seasoning cubes and salt. When the meat water had dry off and the meat is tender. Add the wash Fish and Stockfish, cover the pot and allow it for 30minute.
Wash the water leafs, slice and keep aside. Wash the Cowskin and cut into your desire shapes, wash the periwinkle and keep them aside too.
Open the pot and add the washed Cowskin, cover and allow for more minutes.
- After more minutes of 5-10, add the slice water leafs, periwinkle, pounded crayfish with more pepper, add oil and allow it without the cover for 10minute.
Before now, wash the Atama with warm water.
- Add the Atama leaves, stir very well, add more oil and allow for 2minute. After 2minute, stir again and off the lights.
Atama Soup is ready
Atama Soup can be taken with any type of choice swallow. White rice can be taken with Atama Abak. You need to have a taste of this delicious soup that is called Atama
