Happy new week to my fellow steemian in this community. How are you doing today I hope your day went well and you had a great day. Am glad to present my entry on this week food diary contest.
This week, am presenting on Jellof Spaghetti. Is a very light food, suitable for breakfast or dinner but that's does not mean it can't be taken at anytime depending on individual. Is a fast cooking meal just as noodles and a meal love by many.
Ingredients
Spaghetti
Groundnut oil
Sardines (Titus)
Onions
Garlic and ginger
Tomatoe ( 1 sachet)
Pepper, seasoning cubes and Salt
Preparation
- Boil water in a sizeable pot. Add salt inside the pot and allow it for 30minut. While the water is till on the fire,Cut the spaghetti into your desire Length and keep aside.
After 30minute, add the spaghetti, stir very well and allow it to boil until it become soft.
Check if it is soft enough. Remove it from the fire and drain. Pour a little cool water in it to wash off the starchy water.
- Place another pot on fire and add groundnut oil. When the oil is hot enough, add a little salt in it, add the slice onions and add the Sardines and fry for few seconds.
- Add the tomato, stir and allow it for 10minute. Add all other ingredients, Pepper, garlic, seasoning cubes, ginger, salt. Stir and have a taste.
- Add the spaghetti, stir it thoroughly and allow it for 10minute. After this minute, stir it again and off the light.
Jellof Spaghetti is ready
Spaghetti is one of the fast meal to go for but it requires technique in order to enjoy it. If not, you will end up spending time to cook the meal without enjoying. Remember, spaghetti is always tasteless. As a good cook your are, you know what to do to bring out the nice and delicious taste in spaghetti.
