Be proud of what you can do. It gives you happiness, Joy, reason to do more better. Am glad to prepare and come out with one of my local delicacy known as Edita iwah (cassava snacks). Most of my people tend to forget about how to prepare this delicacy. Some thinks it's takes too much time. O yeah! But you can make the time to be shortened if only you can apply a different way or method in doing it.

Is not only on this delicacy. It applies to anything that makes you feel lazy because of time consumed. Well, let see the process

šŸ’  Using a knife, peel out the cassava, cut out your desirable shapes, wash it very well to avoid sand and put it inside a clean pot, add water and boil.

šŸ’  After 30minute, bring the pot down, remove the cassava into a bowel and allow it to cool.

šŸ’  Put water in another bowel, remove the cassava and begin to slice it one after the other until all the cassava finish. Note: The reason of putting the water is because it will not allow the cassava to be sticking to each other as you are slicing.

šŸ’  When you're done, pour it into a big bowel that you will be able to wash it well. Use soda soap to wash the first time, it will help in removing the draw texture and preserve the delicacy to stay for a longer days. Then keep it serve in a container that has a cover.

Your Edita iwah is ready to consume. It can be taken along side with smoke or dry fish, groundnut, palm kennel, coconut etc.

Keep the mouth of your husband, children, relative, visitors that is hungry waiting for food to be ready busy with Edita iwah snacks until you're done cooking.

I will love the following steemian to participate @prime33, @ettete and @ogechukwu-martha.

    Thank you and steem on!
