When I saw this nomination award post, I was moved in some ways. It's been a year and the steemit team wants to award the best author, contributor and best community for being assets to this platform. The following users are qualified for these positions from the reasons I'll give below.

Starting from best author [@patjewell], I love to be frank and specific in my nomination. I've read countless posts in this ecosystem and most of them seems good to me. I get to learn new words, lifestyle, the way people think of a particular situation, Ideas and the likes of them. Out of the many I've read @patjewell posts seems to catch my attention.
Gone are those days she used to write diary games consistently and host tutorials on the platform. It's her tutorials that made me where I am today. Why is she considered as best author? Her writings are very much exclusive and detailed. It's not as if Others aren't exclusive but there's something about her posts that anytime I go through it, I have a different perception or view and I tend to understand concepts better as she'll break it down and even use simple illustrations.
Her markdown styles are top notch no doubt and as it's said, there's wisdom in Gray headedness. She has displayed these wisdom in her writeups that's why I choose her as best author.

A contributor is one who ensures he devotes 80% of his support, strength, loyalty and dedication to a firm or business. In this platform, I've seen myself as a contributor not just in a particular community but to the steemit platform as a whole. Right from when I learnt the basics from my best mentor, the only way I could repay the favour she showed me was doing same for others.
That's how my promotional activity started early this year. I've been working tirelessly to ensuring many know about this platform and are guided. Early this year till date, I can be very proud to say @bossj23 has signed up and trained over 30 consistent users on this platform whose aims is to build their steem power. This action has undoubtedly increased the userbase of this platform.
Asides this, I do host Mentorship classes for both those who create an account with abandoned mentors and those finding it difficult to understand the platform better. I ensure they are well established before leaving them to stand their grounds. I've been able to do so for over 10 new and old users. I'm not after the praise it may bring, I'm happy when I know I can help others become financially stable.

On steemkids and parents community, there's a challenge I do host on a monthly basis which has helped a lot of users grow their steem power from a relatively small amount to a large one. This challenge has also make them active on the platform and in the community as they know they'll be evicted if they do.
I've also ensured I point out ways to improve quality post as a moderator in the community. When reviewing, I'll point out why I consider a post to be Quality and why I don't. These are just a few of my contributions to this Ecosystem.

Every community on this platform has users who like the community and focus on posting there. In as much as I post in other communities, I consider steemkids and parents community as the best community so far. It has an avenue where users can share their creativity and daily activities and get support or awarded. There's this Writing Expedition it holds.
From my observation, I discovered that a lot of users are active in that community because of the Expedition. Users in the community ensure they support themselves through votes and comments. Moderators and admins in the community ensure posts aren't left unreviewed compared to other communities that may not really consider this an essential factor.
The community is one of the most active if not the most active. This community was my first community when I joined steemit. After trying to post in other communities without getting support, I tried steemkids and parents community formerly known as steemkids. They took me in, groomed me, made me the consistent user and dolphin I am today. They deserve this award as I pledge my nomination to the community.
In conclusion, this nomination isn't based on favouritism of any sort. It's based on facts which has become obvious in some way.. Looking forward to seeing these users and community claim the nominated position.
