Ingredients needed for cooking beans and yam
- Tuber of yam
- Beans 2/1 cups
- Fresh Pepper
- Onion
- Dryfish (Crayfish)
- Palm oil (Red Oil)
- Slat to taste
- Seasoning Cube
Preparation Stage
You have to put water in fire allow it to get hot then put the raw beans and cook for about 1 hour then remove and wash the dirty water out and keep aside.
Peel, and cut the yam into small spices, then wash and keep aside.
Wash and grind pepper, Onion, crayfish and keep aside.
- Slice some onion and keep aside. If you are to use dryfish wash and remove the bones and keep them aside.
Cooking Steps
- Put a pot on the fire, pour in a small quantity of palm, and allow to get hot, then put in sliced onion, grind pepper, and, stir.
- Add some seasoning to it stir, and add quanta ity of water.
- Put the beans you have cooked into the pot and stir.
- Add the peel into the beans, seasoning, taste, and, add a small quantity of water cover the pot and allow to cook until the water gets dry.
