Learn how to cook fresh tomato stew.

Cooking is part of my hobbies and I like sharing my cooking skills with others to learn one or two things. In today's post, you're going to learn how to prepare fresh tomato stews using a few ingredients.

I like eating rice and stew which is why I usually take my time to prepare stew weekly to either eat it with beans, bread, or yam. As said earlier cooking is as easy as ABCD to Z, when you have all the ingredients available. In cooking foods ingredients are very important because it is what add flavor and make your food taste sweet.

Having said all that let's take a quick look at the ingredients needed for cooking stew.

Ingredients:

  • Meat
  • Fresh Tomatoes
  • Sachet Tomato
  • Red bell peppers
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Onions
  • Seasoning
  • Salt (to taste)

Cooking Steps

Now, we are going to be seeing how stew is being made. All the required steps are shared below.

  • Your first step should be the cooking of your meat. Wash your meat, put it inside the pot, add seasoning to it, and cook it till it gets soft.

  • Wash and grind the fresh tomatoes, pepper and some onions put them on fire, and allow the water to dry.

  • After you have cooked the meat, and parboil the grind tomatoes keep them aside.

  • Get a pot, turn a small quantity of vegetable oil into it, and place it on fire, allow it to get hot for like 5minutes before you can add sliced onions into it.

  • Add the grindel tomatoes and fry for like 5 minutes, before adding the sachet of tomatoes.

  • Add seasonings and stir very well.

  • Add your cooked meat and stir, then cover and allow to cook until it gets thicker.

After you have finished cooking the stew, you can then eat it together with white rice, beans, yam, or plantain.
