Greetings to All
I hope you are all doing well and I am excited to share the Aloo Kabab recipe while participating in the food challenge of the Steem kids and Parents Community.
Aloo Kabab is a popular pakistani snack loved by many. In this comprehensive guide, we will talk about the steps to prepare these mouthwatering potato kababs in your very own kitchen.

Ginger-Garlic Paste | 1 teaspoon |
Cumin Powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
Garam Masala | 1/2 teaspoon |
Red Chili Powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
Salt | To taste |
Bread Crumbs | For coating |
Oil | For shallow frying |
Boil and Mash the Potatoes |
- Boil the potatoes until they're soft and easy to mash.
- Peel and mash the boiled potatoes in a large bowl.
Add Onions, Spices, and Herbs |
- Add finely chopped onions, green chilies, coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt to the mashed potatoes.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly to form a uniform mixture.
- Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into round or oval patties.
- Roll each patty in bread crumbs for a crispy texture.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat for shallow frying.
- Carefully place the shaped kababs in the hot oil.
- Fry until both sides are golden brown and crispy.
- Once the Aloo Kababs are cooked, remove them from the pan and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or your favorite dipping sauce.
