Greetings to you all dear steemians, it gives me pleasure to participate in this great contest of helping the kids to develop their creativity by creating something from nothing, organise by @m-fdo in this great Steem Kids & Parents Community. Let me take you through the process of creating something from nothing that will inspire not only the kids in this community and beyond but also those who are not yet on the platform due to their age bracket and exposure.

What is the name of what you have made

The name of what I am making is "fez cap (face cap)." This is a rounded short cylindrical covering that protect our face and head from the rays of the sun.

Steps to make the craft

The materials use are:

1. 2 colour cardbord paper
2. Pencil
3. Scissors
4. Ruler
5. Top cum
6. Rasor blade

Step 1

I start by measuring the shape, hight and wight so as to get the exact cutting.

Then I cut of the part I will use for the rounded shape.

Step 2

I use the pencil to scketch out the triangle shape from tbe cut out paper

Then I cut with the scissors

Step 3

I the apply the cum to one end of the cut of triangle line

I then attach the other end to bind the two together to have the rounded shape

Step 4

I trim and cut out the arc part that will be use in the face with yellow colour of paper

Then scissor the edge to enable me to fold to the rounded shape

Step 5

I apply the cum to the scissor edges

Then attach it to the rounded shape

Step 6

Then I attach the triangle edges together with the cum

Then I fold a pieces of cut out in a small round and attach it at the top

How did you get the idea?

I have a cap sitting on my printer in the office, when I look at the cap, I remember this contest of making something from nothing, I then said to my self, I can make this. Before long, the finished product justify that.

How useful is what you have made?

The cap that I made is very useful because it is use as a covering that protect the face and head from the rays of the sun. It is also use as a fashion to complement other wears.

Which kid did you inspire or do you intend to inspire and help develop the creativity?

I intend to inspire the kids in the Steem Kids & Parents community and my little girl who is still growing up.
