I believe my all my friends of this beautiful community are having quality time. Today again I am here to participate in this food challenge which is organised by @Steem Kids & Parents community. Today I will share my another healthy and tasty food details with you all. Hope you will read my post. so let's begin,

The purpose of this amazing food challenge contest is to share our recipe to our kids and educate them in cooking process with various healthy and tasty meals. For today's food challenge i picked up mixed vegetables salad with chana and moong recipe. The process of preparing this recipe is also very easy. And it's rich with lots of nutrients.

Ingredient for the recipe :

  • Soaked chana 1 cup
  • Soaked moong 1 cup
  • Carrot 1
  • Cucumber 1
  • Tomato 1
  • Onion 1
  • Coriander leaves
  • Ginger garlic
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Red chilli powder
  • Chaat masala
  • Chilly
  • Lime juice

Let's start the recipe
First of all we need to soak chana and moong before preparing this recipe. This simple salad recipe is very good for summer too. We can beat the heat because of this cool cucumber ingredient in it, it's a fresh vegetable and protein packed salad. This healthy and tasty salad arouse the taste buds with their delicious flavors and help satisfy hunger.
First of all we need to boil both chana and moong in different pans because chana need much time than moong to boil. While they are in the process of boiling on another side we need to wash the cucumber properly and then peel the skin off the cucumber and remove it's extra seeds if it has and then we need to dice the cucumber into tiny pieces.line this, again dice the tomatoes, carrot using the same process. You can add more veggies according to your choice. Then finely chopped a ginger keep aside.And then we also chopp the green chillies following the same process.

Drain the water from the moong and chana. Then put the chana,moong, and all the ingredients,diced cucumber, diced tomatoes, carrot,potato, green chilies and diced in a large bowl and gently mix together.Place a small pan or tadka pan on the cooktop on low flame, add oil to the pan.When oil heated add a pinch of mustard seeds. When the mustard seeds begin to splutter, there we need to add ginger and sauté for a minute or two. Switch off the gas flame and add the seasoning to the bowl of mixed veg salad. Gently toss all the ingredients together and then Add salt and the lemon juice extract to the salad and mix well and our healthy and delicious mixed veg salad salad is ready.

Health benefits of this food and when it consume
It is only fair to signify this mix veg Salad, a wealth of nutrients. there’s not a single element which is not good for our body and system. There are other reasons why we must consider consuming this Salad in our day-to-day meal schedules.
  • This mixed veg salad is a powerhouse of proteins and fibre, which assists us in managing the blood cholesterol and blood sugar levels.

  • It is really good for a healthy heart and helps us to get rid of diabetes .

It is meal that can be consume along with other lunch preparations or as a mid-morning or evening snack with a beverage.
