Today, I will participate in the new Engagement challenge from Steem Kids & Parents community. The name of the Engagement is "Steemit Engagement Challenge (SEC) WK14:#1: Neglect in families, effects on kids." Thank you Steem Kids & Parents for bringing a beautiful engagement to us. I am very glad to participate in this engagement.

Neglect of responsibilities in a family usually comes from the head of the family. As the head of the family, he has the responsibility to treat everyone in the family equally. To meet all their needs, But when a family head neglects to meet those needs despite harmony, it is called neglect of duty.

No, I did not accept any negligence from the head of my family. My father performed his duties with great sincerity as long as he was alive. After my father's death, my elder brother also performed the duties assigned to him to the best of his ability.
I heard a sad story of neglect of responsibility from my friend. He was my classmate. His name was also similar to mine. His name was Shahidul Islam. Today I am presenting the incident of his life.
Shahidul Islam did not have a father in his family. His mother was a housewife. He grew up with his uncle.

• He was neglected by his uncles in many ways. He suffered from food. The food that was given to him was not enough for him. So he was almost in a state of starvation.

• He was not given the necessary books to study. He had to hire books from others.
• He had to do various household chores while all the children were busy playing.
• Thus, he had to grow up neglected.

Parents must be very wise. They understand much better than me. Currently, I am also serving as a parent. So let me give some advice to those parents who are neglecting their duty. If you follow the advice, hopefully, peace will return to the family.

• You should to be kind all members of the family.
• Every member must be sincere in meeting the essential needs.
• Even if any of their needs are not met, they should be discussed with them and understand why the need is not being met.
• To ensure that the children of the family get equal opportunities for education, sports, and entertainment.
• They should behave like friends so that they don't feel any inferiority complex.

• Even if your parents neglect you, do not be angry with them.
