Try preparing egusi soup this way
Good day and happy Sunday to you all. today I decided to change my Sunday food, and I wanted it to be swallow, so I decided to prepare egussi soup to eat with my swallow. I think you need to try preparing your egusi soup this way, you will enjoy it.
Ingredients.
- Meat
- Dry fish
- Egussi
- pepper
- Ugu
- onion
- Ogbono
- Palm oil
- Maggie
- salt
First I started by getting the ingredients for my soup ready. I washed my pepper and onions and ground them. and also washed my meat, after which I sliced my ugu, washed my dry fish, and mixed my egusi with sliced onion and a little water.
- Step 1 After putting my washed meat in a clean pot I placed it on fire and added some of my ground pepper and onion meat and some Maggie and salt to it and allowed it to steam for a while before I added water to it to cook properly.
- Step 2 After the meat was cooked I turned the meat into another pot and then put some water into the pot, added some palm oil covered the pot, and allowed it to boil.
- Step 3 When the fire water started boiling I added my Ogbono, I stirred the mixture continuously while putting the Ogbono into the boiling water. After that, I covered the pot and allowed it to boil for some time.
- Step 4 I added my already mixed egusi into the Ogbono on fire which I cut into a small round shape with my hand, I then covered the pot and allowed it to boil for a while.
- Step 5 After the egusi had boiled for a while I added my dry fish and the meat into the egusi and added some seasoning and salt to taste, also covered the pot for a while and added my ugu, which I allowed to boil for three minutes. and the soup is ready.
