Happy Sunday to you all, my fellow Steemians today I would like to share with you how I prepared my delicious Sunday stew. After service today I thought of preparing White rice and stew. As I like to eat rice and stew every Sunday.

Ingredient

  • Tomatoes
  • pepper
  • onion
  • meat
  • curry
  • thyme
  • groundnut oil
  • Seasoning
  • salt

If you are using fresh tomatoes then you will have to wash the tomatoes, pepper, and onion and grind it after grinding the tomatoes with onion and pepper then put it on fire to dry out the water. As for mine, I used both fresh and sachet tomato

You will now have to grind some onion and pepper separately which will be used in seasoning the meat. After that wash the meat and put it into a clean pot. Slice some onion separately.

Steps

  • Put your meat in a pot add the ground pepper and onions, add curry and thyme add some seasoning and salt to taste.

  • Stir the meat together then place it on fire without adding water to the meat allow the meat to steam for a while after some minutes, add water to the meat to cook properly.

  • Place a clean pot on fire add groundnut oil into the pot and allow the oil to get hot, then add the sliced onion into the hot oil after that add the tomatoes into the oil, stir the tomatoes slowly

  • Add curry and thyme to the tomatoes and continue stirring the tomatoes on fire for some minutes then put the already cooked meat and stock into the tomatoes on fire. Stir properly and allow to cook for some minutes and your stew will be ready.
