Chicken is a short wing bird kept at home for the purpose of meet, eggs or as pets. Chicken feeds on grains and insect. Its important to know that chicken is a general name. It can also be called:

Materials Used For Drawing
- Plain A4 paper

Step 1
I began drawing from the beak (mouth of the chicken). After the beak, I drew the comb, wattles, eyes and then the ear lobes. Finally, I completed the shape of the head. I used pencil, red colour and orange colour at this stage
Step 2
I coloured the comb and wattles with red colour; I coloured the eyelid with pencil and the surrounding of the eye with red colour. I also coloured the beak with pencil and orange colour.
Step 3
I used an orange colour to shade the head and allow the ear lobes to remain white.
Step 4
I used yellow colour to sketch the remaining part of the chicken.
Step 5
I shaded part of the breast of the chicken using an orange colour.
Step 6
I completed the shading of the breast with orange colour.
Step 7
I shaded the thigh and hock of the chicken with brown colour and orange colour.
Step 8
I shaded the wing and tail of the chicken with a brown colour.
Step 9
I drew the legs of the chicken using brown colour. The legs comprise the shank, toes and claws
Step 10
I coloured the background of my drawing using yellow colour and brown colour. I also shaded the claws black using pencil.
Step 11
I drew grasses on the land where the chicken is standing with green colour. And after that, I wrote my name on the drawing.
