En mi diario activista de hoy les quiero comentar lo más relevante que nos ha sucedido en casa el día de ayer y un gusto compartirlo con ustedes. Agradecida a Dios por el nuevo día y por la salud que tenemos mis hijos y yo. Había notado que mi gatito no estaba tan juguetón como suele ser y de repente su olor de orina es mas fuerte y estaba muy hinchado, no había hecho sus necesidades básicas en dos días y eso es un problema por su condición de paraplejia.
In my activist diary today I want to tell you the most relevant thing that happened to us at home yesterday and it is a pleasure to share it with you. Thankful to God for the new day and for the health that my children and I have. I had noticed that my kitten was not as playful as he usually is and suddenly his urine smell is stronger and he was very swollen, he had not done his basic needs in two days and that is a problem due to his paraplegia condition.
I had to drain the feces through massages on the bottom, since I didn't want to insert a suppository through the rectum, it is something traumatic and uncomfortable. But because of his condition it is like that, his food is very wet or liquid that is why he urinates uncontrollably, but I found his smell strange. I told the vet via WhatsApp and he told me that it is necessary to do a plaque or ultrasound in that area to see how his organs are and how the deviation of the spine affects his healthy growth and development. I very patiently felt his intestines and noticed that there was something hard inside him and gently and with massages I helped him expel it. He complained but then he was calm.

At one point I quickly went out on an errand and took advantage and went through the market finding out the prices of some products and this is what the most frequented place in this city looked like and the sun was merciless with everyone. There are varieties of prices here and nearby is a pet food and medicine place.

Luego alguien me había mencionado que en el supermercado nuevo hay variedades de todo tipo de víveres en general y fui a ver, hay conseguí este alimento más económico para gatitos menores de 1 año a 2.89$ eso equivale a 16.03 Steem eso es casi mi quincena. Lo bueno es que a pesar de ser un producto traido de Brazil es natural y sin conservantes químicos. Sabor a carne y pollo y realmente es un alimento balanceado y con buena tabla de nutrición. Ideal para mi gatito Katire.
Then someone had mentioned to me that in the new supermarket there are varieties of all kinds of provisions in general and I went to see, there I found this cheaper food for kittens under 1 year old for $2.89 that is equivalent to 16.03 Steem that is almost my fortnight. The good thing is that despite being a product brought from Brazil, it is natural and without chemical preservatives. It tastes like meat and chicken and it really is a balanced food with a good nutrition table. Ideal for my kitty Katire.
Once at home for lunch I took the opportunity to prepare a small fish and fried it with rice, a light lunch. I grabbed a couple of fish heads and prepared a soup to mix with his catfish to give my kitten a good meal.

Y como estamos en temporada del regreso a clases, en la tarde me tocó darle las bienvenida a mis alumnos y saber que este lapso es corto, termina en diciembre y este año es electoral y veremos cómo se desenvuelven las cosas. Así terminé parte de mi día.
And since we are in the back-to-school season, in the afternoon I had to welcome my students and know that this period is short, it ends in December and this year is an election and we will see how things develop. That's how I ended part of my day.
