En mi diario de hoy les quiero compartir como ha sido mi semana, en especial estos últimos dos días que he estado desconectada de todo y muy pendiente de la salud de mi querido gatito Katire. Por ahora agradecida a Dios porque se encuentra estable, pero han sido días duros y la salud es algo delicada y más en su condición. Así empiezo mi diario.

For now, grateful to God because she is stable, but they have been hard days and her health is somewhat delicate, especially in her condition. This is how I start my diary.

Everything was fine but suddenly, it happened that at night my kitten had something bothering him and he vomited a lot since dawn and in the morning he no longer vomited food, but a white and then green foam. Desperate, I started looking for available veterinarians, since it is the weekend it is more difficult to find one... I gave him water and even so he continued vomiting and became weak, I didn't understand what was happening, poor thing, my kitten made me cry.
When I saw that the vomit suddenly changed color, I was even more worried...and the veterinarians gave me no answer. After 3 hours of desperation, finally, a veterinarian who knows the kitten's condition answered me that she will take him. When we arrived at the place I did not take photos, focusing on my kitten's situation and his health. They took his temperature, hydrated him, weighed him, looked at his broken leg and it is necessary to take an X-ray, apparently it is the sacral bone and that sector between the spine and the pelvis that is affected and that brings these intestinal problems and so on.

These are the kitten's medicines, a treatment for three days that must be given immediately, for vomiting some blisters called Ranitidine, for the diarrhea that just started at that moment Bactron (Trimethoprim and sultamethoxazole) or enterogemina and an ointment for the lesions of the paw that drags and is affected by feces and urine composed of gentamicin and dexamethasone which must be applied to these lesions after good grooming. I myself applied the ampoules and serum subcutaneously at home since he did not want to eat.
The diagnosis is gastritis and for this I must undergo treatment for several days and take care of my diet. Sometimes when I couldn't buy fish, sardines or chicken I gave him canned ones and that was the fatal trigger for my kitten. To improve we must give everything freshly made and fresh such as chicken soup with carrots, fish or meat broth, vegetable cream and everything liquid such as water, chamomile tea, coconut water. We take turns at home to feed the kitten, it is our very beloved pet and we will not let it get sick or die without putting up a fight and taking better care of it. They have been delicate days for us at home taking care of the kitten we love.

It's been two days of treatment and the kitten is starting to be a little more alert, the diarrhea still persists when he poops, he has lost weight, I urgently need to do the x-ray but it costs about $25, for now I don't have it and I have to take good care of him . We must also make him a cart or walker to make it more comfortable for him in his growth, I have the ideas, but I don't know how to do it manually and I am seeing what we can do with recycling material to help him in his development and growth. This has been part of this day shared with you.
