Greetings to all Steemians reading this and everyone in this community, today I will be writing about my rabbits again, I promise you won't be fed up with this entry, I would have talked about cattle today but I have a better relationship with my rabbits than cattle.

My diary starts with cleaning my rabbit cage, note that keeping rabbit droppings in the cage for a longer period can cause diseases like coccidiostats, sore hocks etc. which will remain unnoticed and later will surprise you with the death of your rabbits, so I took time to clean my cage and made sure they are in good sanitary state.

The next thing was to take them out to receive a little scourge from the early morning sun, this activity is very beneficial for younger rabbits as It helps supplement vitamin D and build stronger bones another thing is that exposing them to early morning won't affect their eye and freedom to glance at any object.
In the process of exposing them, I kept them busy chewing some bitter gourd I got from the nearby farm, in some animals bitter gourd is abortive but it serves as a very nutritious feed for rabbits.

After that I took my female rabbit to examine if she was pregnant, sometimes we need to be sure if our rabbit is pregnant so that we won't wait as expectant of a newborn and get disappointed when the time comes, rabbit also develop
"false pregnancy", another thing to learn about a rabbit, I won't keep in suspense this time "false pregnancy occurs after 2-3 weeks or 14 days of mating, the doe starts pulling off her furs source and starts scratching the corners of the cage when this occurs take the doe to the buck for second mating.

There is this stubborn rabbit I have in my cage, and I find it difficult to mate with her, besides, it was brought to me by another rabbit farmer, I decided to do some research on this and I discovered it was because a female rabbit was too big in size, obesity in female rabbit is not good at all, obesity can cause rabbit not to get pregnant, and might make it impossible for rabbit to mate
